Alabama’s famous BBQ restaurant, Jim ‘N Nick’s, cooked up a slow-smoked barbecue with all the Southern fixings. Locally-owned Hitching Post 2 served an array of Santa Maria-style, oak-barbecued specialties. Add to the party aged-bourbon cocktails, fine Santa Barbara wines, and fabulous views of the Clendenen’s Family Estate Vineyard and it made for a wonderful evening. It all benefits Direct Relief and Central Coast Wine Classic founder Archie McLaren’s wonderful memory.
