| The Palisades Highlands is one of the newest developments in Pacific Palisades. Development in the area began in the early 1970's and now include condominiums, townhomes and single family residences. The Lower Highlands located at the lower part of Palisades Drive features condominium complexes while the majority of the development is located up at the top of Palisades Drive. The Country Estates is a gated community with about 80 homes. Palisades Hills off of Piedra Morada is known for its ocean views.
