Pacific Palisades is a neighborhood on the Westside of Los Angeles. Part of the city of Los Angeles, it retains a separate identity as a specific district of the city with its own zip code (90272). Brentwood is located to the east, Santa Monica to the southeast, Topanga and Malibu are located to the west. The city is bordered on the south by the Santa Monica Bay, offering residents expansive ocean views and to the north by the scenic Santa Monica Mountains. The community is primarily residential with approximately 25,000 residents. Prominent public schools include Marquez Charter Elementary School, Palisades Charter Elementary School and Palisades Charter High School. Middle school children can attend Paul Revere in nearby Brentwood. The area is also served by several private schools for pre-school, elementary and middle school students.
